Extruders are processing equipment for chemical fiber, plastics, rubber, food and other materials. Materials are heated and forced through dies to form target profiles. A typical extruder consists of feeding system, heating system, extrusion head, die and cooling system. During extrusion, raw materials are heated to molten state, extruded through the extrusion head for shaping, and then cooled and solidified in the cooling system. Accurate measurement and control of melt pressure and temperature are critical throughout the process.
